Link to an article about the Passover Paintings
http://jkidphilly.org/article.aspx?id=73 I created a series of paintings inspired by studying the texts and traditions surrounding the Jewish springtime holiday of Passover. These imagines will serve as illustrations to a child-friendly, progressive Haggadah, the book that is read during a Passover Seder.
Framed prints of these images are available for purchase. The image in Hand Washing was used as the cover art for Until the Blue Kingdom Comes, a book of poetry by Rabbi James B. Rosenberg, reviewed on January 30, 2011 in the
Providence Sunday Journal. In addition, I create custom paintings for unique Bar and Bat Mitzvah and wedding gifts. I interview the subject to create a meaningful image. In addition to the physical painting, electronic versions are provided for use in invitations, programs, etc.
